Construction: - Triple walled construction, all the three wallsare made of thick high grade stainless steel sheet of SS-304 grade. The lid ismade of stainless steel sheet. The unit is fitted with radial locking systemwith paddle lifting device, made of MS chrome plated. Provided with built- insafety valve, pressure gauge, pressure release valve and water level indicator.The pressure is adjustable from 5 psi to 20 psi with automatic pressure controlswitch, which controls the pressure with an accuracy of +/- 1 psi. Supplied completewith stainless steel basket, chord and plug.
Mode of Heating: - Electrically heated by special flangetype/immersion type heaters bearing ISI mark, to work on 220 volts single phase50 cycles.
Working Pressure: - The pressure inside the chamber is variable from5 psi. to 20 psi. But the normal recommended pressure for sterilization processis 1.2 kgf/cm sq.g ( 15 psi - 17 psi).
Working Temperature : 121 C .
Hydrotest Pressure : 2.5 kgf/cm sq.g ( 35 psi).
